 TRAVEL UPDATE

11th June 2021

Dear Valued Customer,

We trust you are well and keeping safe. We would like to update you on the latest communication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(Kenya), regarding flight restrictions between Kenya and the United Kingdom.
Effective 9th June 2021, the Government of Kenya has lifted all flight restrictions between Kenya and the United Kingdom.
All COVID-19 restrictions earlier communicated by the Kenya Civil Authority will be varied in the following manner:

  • All passengers/ crew irrespective of nationality and residency status coming to Kenya from the United Kingdom, irrespective of their route of travel to Kenya must be in possession of a valid COVID-19 negative PCR test certificate conducted within 96 hours before travel except children below 5 years of age.
  • All passengers/crew irrespective of nationality and residency status coming to Kenya from the United Kingdom, irrespective of their route of travel to Kenya shall be required to self-isolate for seven days upon arrival and take a subsequent PCR test four days after arrival. Passengers shall submit daily health information including the results of their second PCR test on the jitenge platform/app for 14 consecutive days.
We will share further updates as we await communication from Kenya Airways and British Airways on the resumption of direct flights between Nairobi and the UK.
